  1. I'm surprised they let you have a blog. The stations and companies seem so worried about people "going off the reservation" in recent years. I guess with Twitter they can't control that?? You really are a breath of fresh air in Oklahoma (I like to fantasize in my mind you're a closet Democrat, but I know you would play hell being hired if they knew that beforehand). Did you know KWTV9 had a special local broadcast on the 10th (during the time the CBS National News usually broadcasts), for NO APPARENT REASON other than Pres. Obama was doing a sitdown interview with Scott Pelley that same time??

You seem to emit high energy, and you always smile. Many weathercasters cannot "go with the flow" and ad lib from news to weather, but you're very natural and articulate to comment on the stories sometimes. When you said "they made that bird look like a thug" when talking about the vulgar speaking cockatoo I about died laughing. Anyway I mean it as a high compliment (in my view) that you're not typical "Okie". I hope you can do more ON THE SCENE storm chasing (if that is what YOU choose to do). You're fine in the studio as well, but reading bulletins and going down a list of NWS storm tips seems beneath a girl of your talent. I know they are thinking they don't want to throw a young girl out into that, but I think you could do it well.
